To provide a voice for those veterans, who have traditionally been voiceless, and under-served in the State of Maryland, DC and Virginia. To be a positive resource for the Veteran population. To engage in conversations on issues of interest to our veteran population. To assist veterans and their families through the Department of Veteran Affairs medical assistance and benefit programs. To develop, monitor and pursue priorities approved by NABVETS National Command. Conduct inquiries, and gather data pertaining to veteran issues.
Provides outreach services by, working together with the community to end homelessness, and to empower low-income and minority Veterans. A Nationally certified Veterans Service Organization with membership and chapters throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. A U.S. Department of Affairs claims representative (VA)
Provides assistance to veterans and their family members through the VA's application process. Also, specializing in Military Sexual Trauma Counseling, offering a safe environment to discuss those issues and concerns. Continually building and expanding its programs, including transitional and permanent housing and day services for low-income Veterans and their families historically preservation of the contribution of minority, women, and honoring of Vietnam through Afghanistan Wars and other national conflict veterans.
